Georgian Patrol Police and Quarantine Area Personnel Provided with Facemasks Made in Georgia

Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia has started distribution of pirates made in Georgia. Retired people over 70 with chronic diseases, patrol police, quarantine zones staff, customs officers, employees of municipal services – this is a short list of the target groups that were provided with the facemasks made in compliance with the standards approved by the Center for Disease Control and the Lugar Laboratory in Georgia

The masks have been distributed to the patrol police staff and other public servants who has daily communication with various community groups.

Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Head of the National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, and the administration staff handed over the facemasks made in Georgia to the hotel staff, which, by the decision of the Government of Georgia and the standards of the Centers for Disease Control, quarantine zones were organized.

According to the head of the National Tourism Administration, Georgian Government has been able to launch the production of the most deficient products in the world in a very short time. “We are pleased that the facemasks are already being used in hotels that are involved in the quarantine program. The Ministry of Economy has already provided these products. This program allows us to prevent the spread of coronavirus,” – Mariam Kvrivishvili said.
