Natia Turnava Held Online Meeting with Nestlé Chief Executive Officer in Eurasia

Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, within the framework of the strategy of proactive attraction of foreign investments, held an online meeting with the Nestle Chief Executive Officer in Eurasia Martial Rolland and regional managers. Mikheil Khidureli, the Enterprise Georgia Agency Director, also participated in the meeting. The strategy implies the direct communication with over 400 international companies in order to introduce Georgia’s business opportunities to them and offer the attractive investment terms.

“We continue to talk with global brands, large companies that we think may want to move production to Georgia or develop new ones. Today we talked to the regional director of the Nestle and introduced the opportunities and advantages that Georgia can offer and would be beneficial if they move their production here,” – the Minister stated following the meeting. She also added that any company, including the Nestle, that will decide to transfer their businesses to Georgia or start the new one during the post-pandemic period, will receive the maximum support and assistance. 

Natia Turnava noted that further negotiations on the prospects of cooperation with the Nestle will continue in the working process. One of the directions in which the Georgian side offered to potential investors was the production of food and non-alcoholic beverages.

The meeting was organized by the Enterprise Georgia Agency and held within the framework of the action plan for attracting investments.
