“In terms of global pandemic, we are trying everything possible to attract foreign investment, because despite the global crisis, Georgia is one of the most attractive platforms for foreign investors as a safe country. It is a country that has top positions in the international business environment rankings,” – Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development stated following the meeting with the consultants on the locations suitable for investments. 

The consultants of successful investment locations from Belgium and the USA are visiting Georgia for the second time. The visit is organized by the Produce in Georgia Agency and is supported by the USAID.

Natia Turnava confirmed that the close communication is being held with the investment location consultants so that Georgia, which has already appeared on the map of international companies, will be more active in the future on the map of companies thinking of changing the geography of their activities and supply chain.

“The services of investment location consultants are used by the world’s leading global companies. These people come to us, provide information about Georgia and advise their clients, successful companies around the world that if they are thinking of moving their production or business to another country, Georgia is one of the most attractive locations. I am glad that the consultants from Belgium and the United States are very optimistic on bringing large foreign companies to Georgia,” – Natia Turnava said.

An introductory tour is organized for location consultants in Georgia, which envisages meeting with representatives of the public and private sectors. The guests are given the opportunity to receive in-depth information on Georgia’s investment potential and learn about successful projects.

Investment location consultants visit the country as representatives of transnational investment agencies - Location Perspectives and AngelouEconomics. They have many vast experience in cooperation with the international companies and public structures in terms of investment projects.
