On October 29, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Natia Turnava and Rector of Akaki Tsereteli State University, Roland Kopaliani signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The purpose of the memorandum is to facilitate the training of qualified personnel to upgrade their theoretical and practical skills on the basis of students education programs in economics, business administration and law. In addition, the Ministry and the University will cooperate based on the University's educational, scientific-research requirements and mutual agreement.

According to the Memorandum, the Kutaisi State University graduate students of economics, business administration and law education programs will have the opportunity to do an internship at the Ministry. The memorandum also provides for public lectures by the Ministry representatives for the university students.
