Georgia at FITUR-2023 – International Tourist Exhibition in Spain

Georgia participated in FITUR-2023 international tourist exhibition in Spain. Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili and the Head of the National Tourism Administration, Maya Omiadze attended the exhibition. Together with the National Tourism Administration, the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara, Tbilisi City Hall, Imereti Destination Management Organization and 8 tourism companies were presented at the exhibition in Madrid. 

“The interest in Georgia at the exhibition is very high. We hope that as a result of the exhibition, the awareness of our country will increase and we will see more tourists from Spain and other European countries,” – Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development stated.

Within the framework of the exhibition, in order to increase tourist flows from Spain to Georgia, the Georgian delegation held meetings with representatives of international tourism companies, international media and communication agencies. Visitors to the stand of Georgia at FITUR-2023 had the opportunity to watch videos about the country’s tourism potential and learn about tourism products.

Over 8000 companies from more than 130 countries were represented at one of the largest tourism exhibitions in the world. FITUR-2023 was attended by more than 100 thousand visitors and business representatives.
