“Another new enterprise launched operation with the support of the Enterprise Georgia Agency. The enterprise will receive the financial support of 2 million GEL,” – the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava said during her visit to the Kompava Georgia.

This is the first enterprise producing proteins and other food additives in the Transcaucasia, which was opened in Tbilisi. Within the framework of the industrial loan interest co-financing component of the Agency, the Kompava Georgia Ltd. has established a completely new, modern and high-tech enterprise, which produces proteins, amino acids, vitamin complexes and other food supplements.

The Kompava Georgia produces proteins, amino acids, vitamin complexes and other food supplements. The product is packaged in jars from 300 grams to 5 kg, and the production capacity equals to 40 tons of food additives per year. Kompava Georgia Ltd currently employs 20 people and enjoys financial support within the Agency’s industrial component.

“Another enterprise will start operating with the support of the state, which will produce food supplements. The company has good plans and intends to export its products in the nearest future – first to the neighbouring countries, and then to other markets. I hope, that the Kompava Georgia will increase sales soon, which will be followed by an increase in production capacity and the number of employees,” – Natia Turnava commented.

It should be noted that the company is a franchise of the leading Slovak brand Kompava in this field.

The enterprise also contributes from the property component of the Enterprise Georgia programme, which involves the transfer of the state-owned real estate at a symbolic price to the entrepreneur under the certain investment obligations.
