Current Activities

The feasibility study on the formation of free trade agreement between Georgia and South Korea has been completed.  30 November 2022 marks the signature for the completion of the feasibility study on the formation of free trade agreement with South Korea and the memorandum on the commencement of negotiations between the parties. The talks are planned to be launched by the end of 2023. 

“The document on the terms of negotiations for the Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Partnership between Georgia and United Arab Emirates” was signed on 9 May 2022. Consequently, the talks on the text of the Agreement was finalized within 5 months under three rounds. (First round on 26-28 September 2022; Second round on 6-8 December 2022 and the Third round on 17 March 2023). The process of legal adjustment for the text of the Agreement is currently underway and is planned to be signed by the end of 2023.. 

The feasibility study on the formation of free trade agreement between Georgia and Israel has been completed. The May of 2023 marks the signature for the completion of the feasibility study on the formation of free trade agreement with Israel and the memorandum on the commencement of negotiations between the parties. The consultations to start the negotiations are underway.
