Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, introduced the planned projects in the tourism, mining resorts and aviation sectors to the members of the American Chamber of Commerce.
As the Deputy Minister noted at the meeting, the state strategy is in line with the visions of the private sector.
“We had a very productive meeting: we summarized the tourism strategy for 2024, together with the private sector we planned joint activities to further strengthen the tourism industry of our country, open new destinations, and attract more tourists with high purchasing power. I am very happy that the state’s policy is in line with the vision of the private sector and we will continue to do very important work together to further strengthen the tourism industry of our country,” – Mariam Kvrivishvili said.
The Head of the National Tourism Administration, Maia Omiadze, also attended the meeting.
At the meeting with the Tourism Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, Maia Omiadze summarized the activities of the National Tourism Administration for 2023 and introduced the plans of the administration to the representatives of the private sector.
