Natia Turnava Together with Georgian Delegation Visited Belarus Electric Transport Producing Holding

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava, together with the Georgian delegation, visited the leading electric public transport producing Belarus holding “Belkommunmash” and China-Belarus Industrial Park in Minsk. 

At Belkommunmash Georgian delegation got familiar with the production process of the electric buses and the new production produced by the holding.

The Belarus company, on its turn, has expressed its desire to expand cooperation with the Georgian and make the Belarus-made electric buses enter the Georgian cities in the future.

Within the framework of his visit to Belarus, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development will meet with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Siarhiej Rumas. In addition, on February 19, Minsk will host the sixth session of Georgia-Belarus intergovernmental commission on the co-operation such in areas as trade, agro-industrial sector, transport, information technologies and innovations, tourism, education, culture, IT, health care, regional cooperation, etc. Relevant protocol will also be signed following the session. 

The Georgian delegation is comprised of the representatives of several stateagencies, including the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Genadi Arveladze, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili, the Partnership Fund Executive Director David Saganelidze, Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi Ilia Eloshvili, State Representative in Kakheti Region Irakli Kadagishvili, State Representative in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region Aleksandre Motserelia, the Minister of Agriculture of Adjara Tite Aroshidze and the Mayor of Poti Gocha Kurdghelia.
