On the instructions of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili discussed the possibility of increasing the frequency of flights from Georgia to German cities - Dusseldorf, Dortmund and Hamburg during the days of the European Football Championship with the representatives of the airlines registered in Georgia. Negotiations were also carried out with foreign airlines operating flights between Georgian and German cities.

The Deputy Minister said that negotiations are underway with all the airlines that have the opportunity to fly to the cities of Germany on the days of the European Championship, where the Georgian football team will play.

"Following the instructions of the Prime Minister, we are actively working to arrange flights at affordable prices for the football fans. It is important for us to provide our fans with the direct flights and travel at affordable prices so that they can cheer our team's next victory. For this goal, we will work closely with all the airlines to ensure that the Government of Georgia has an accurate action plan and a vision of how to stimulate even more direct flights at affordable prices," – the Deputy Minister stated.
