George Kobulia at Water Heaters Manufacturing Enterprise – Atlantic Georgia

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development visited Atlantic Georgia – electric water heaters manufacturing company in Kutaisi and examined the production process at site. George Kobulia met the management of the enterprise, talked about the plans of the company and the prospects of the company development.

Atlantic Georgia was founded in February 2017. It operates at the Kutaisi Free Economic Zone. 14 million Euro was invested in the company and it started to manufacturing in December 2017. Additional 5 million Euros has been invested in the company at this point and now it employs 110 Georgian citizens. 

The company produces 250000 electric water heaters annually and as it was noted during the conversation between the Minister of Economy and the company’s management, the company plans to double the production since September 2019. At the same time, the Atlantic Georgia will launch co-production with the Bosch in the nearest future.

“I am glad to the such successful enterprises operating in the regions of Georgia. The Atlantic Georgia is a good example of how to organize an export-oriented business. The development of business sector in the regions is an important condition for the economic well-being of the country,” – the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development said.
