Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, George Kobulia held a meeting with the Chief Operating Officer of the Mitsubishi Motors, Trevor Mann. The meeting was held within the official visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Mamuka Bakhtadze to Japan.

Georgian investment and business environment as well as the ongoing and planned reforms were discussed during the meeting. Georgia’s investment opportunities and investment friendly environment, including the beneficial geographic location at the crossroads of Europe and Asia and the liberal taxation, were given the special attention. 

Georgian side offered the huge Japanese corporation to launch production as well as to open the regional logistics center in Georgia.

The Chief Operating Officer of the Mitsubishi Motors, Trevor Mann expressed willingness to study the proposal and conduct feasibility study to determine the opportunities for the Japanese corporation at the Georgian market.
