Natia Turnava Appointed as Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development

Prime Minister of Georgia, Mamuka Bakhtadze, at the briefing at the Government Administration introduced Natia Turnava at the position of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.

“It is a great honor to me to lead the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, which is the agency I know very well, this is the Ministry where high-level professionals are employed. We have certain vision, specific assignments, tasks to be fulfilled in certain terms and I will do my best to justify the trust,” – Natia Turnava told the briefing at the government's administration.

“I have at least 10 years of experience of working with Natia Turnava. Natia is a very high professional with vast experience in public as well as private sectors. We now need very quick solutions, we need to make decisions in the operational mode that reflects the interests of our society, the interests of our entrepreneurs. Natia has our full support and I am sure that she will be able to successfully fulfill his obligations,” – Georgian Prime Minister stated.

Natia Turnava expressed gratefulness to the Prime Minister of Georgia for the given credence. “I would like to thank Mr. George Kobulia for a short-term but very interesting and productive cooperation which we experienced at the Ministry of Economy,’ – Natia Turnava said.

According to the decision of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Natia Turnava, who served as a Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, replaced George Kobulia. The Prime Minister signed the relevant order on 18 April.
