Natia Turnava Met Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Natia Turnava held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó. The meeting was held within the frames of the 1st Investment Forum dedicated to the 10 years of the Eastern Partnership on July 10-11 in Batumi.

Trade and economic relations between the two countries was the main topic of the conversation. It was noted that potential in bilateral trade as well as in other sectors of economy is vast and more active steps should be taken in this direction.

Delegations from Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia and Azerbaijan as well as senior officials of the European Commission, European Investment Bank and European Reconstruction and Development Bank, Investment Agencies, Business Associations, etc. participated in the 1st Eastern Partnership Investment Forum. In total, the Forum hosted over 400 participants.
