Giorgi Gejadze has been appointed at the position of the Head of the Technical and Construction Supervision Agency of the Ministry. The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava presented him to the employees. Deputy Minister Genadi Arveladze also attended the presentation.

The Minister thanked all the employees of the Agency for their work, especially those who are monitoring the security of economic entities both in emergency situations as well as during the routine together with the employees of the Labour Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health, to check whether the companies follow the strict regulations by the Ministry of Health.

According to Natia Turnava, the Agency is one of the most important bodies in the system of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and expressed hope that the challenges faced by the Agency will be successfully overcome together with the young professional leader.

Giorgi Gejadze was chosen on the basis of the competition announced by the Ministry. Prior to this position, Gejadze worked as the Deputy Head of the Municipal Inspection of Tbilisi City Hall. The new Head of the Technical and Construction Supervision Agency has wide experience in the public as well as private sectors.
