Natia Turnava Visited Tusheti within Travel to Georgia Campaign

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava visited Tusheti within the framework of the Travel for Georgia campaign. The Minister tried a gastronomic tour, which was also attended by Irakli Kadagishvili, the State Representative in the Kakheti Region, Gela Samkharauli, the Majoritarian MP from Akhmeta and Telavi, and Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Head of the National Tourism Administration.

“Today, when the pandemic generated difficulties for the tourism sector in terms of hosting of international visitors. We found the opportunity in this situation for all of us to rediscover what we have already seen, enjoy the beauty we have and travel around Georgia and for Georgia,” – Natia Turnava commented.

As part of the campaign, the guests visited Keselo Castle and Tusheti National Park Visitor Center in Omalo. They also participated in the master classes of preparing Tusheti Khinkali and Kotor master classes in the National Park Pine. As the Minister of Economy noted, in addition to members of the Georgian Government, businesspersons and representatives of the diplomatic corps are actively involved in the ongoing campaign to promote domestic tourism.
