Mariam Kvrivishvili: We actively work with Spain on launching of direct flights between the two countries

Launching of direct flights between Georgia and Spain, deepening cooperation in the field of tourism and civil aviation, priorities of bilateral economic relations and other important issues were discussed by Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Charge d’Affaires of the Kingdom of Spain to Georgia, Jorge Lucini Serrano de Aro.
 
Deputy Minister briefed the Spanish Charge d’Affaires on the current situation in the tourism sector of Georgia, including the management of the Covid in the field. Kvrivishvili highlighted that Georgian Government is actively working to develop Georgia’s tourism potential and popularize it in new tourism markets, while Spain, as well as the EU countries in general, are priority markets.

Mariam Kvrivishvili noted that the active work is underway with Spain on launching the direct flights between the two countries, which will significantly contribute to the deepening of cooperation in the field of tourism.
