The Stand of Georgia, the host country of the exhibition, was officially at the main pavilion of the international tourism exhibition – ITB Berlin 2023.

Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili attended the event and examined the products and services presented by the Georgian tourism private sector participating in the exhibition.

“Certainly, the status of the host of this exhibition will increase the awareness of Georgia in the tourism sector, especially among the European business operators, because it is very important for us to attract tourists from Europe in addition to traditional markets. It is also very important that along with awareness, our participation and efforts in this event are reflected in actual practical and economic results,” – Levan Davitashvili stated.

At the Berlin Tourist Exhibition, the Georgian stand is located on an area of 1000 square meters, where almost 80 Georgian companies are represented. Companies introduce their products to thousands of exhibition visitors, provide information about their services and projects. Within the framework of the event, they have the opportunity to establish new business contacts and find business partners during these days.

“Over 80 companies from Georgia are meeting with potential partner companies today, they have business meetings, B2B meetings, which, I am sure, will lead to real contracts. We also expect new tourist flows towards Georgia, and all this, of course, will be reflected in revenues from tourism. I am sure that ITB Berlin 2023 will be special, both in terms of the increase of the country’s tourism awareness and practical results,” – Levan Davitashvili added.
