Dimitry Kumsishvili Delivered Public Lecture at Business and Technology University

The First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili delivered a public lecture at the Business and Technology University (BTU) today.

The BTU students attended the lecture on Economic Policy Decisions and Their Impact on Economy. The session was interactive.

The Minister introduced to the audience Georgian Government’s vision of country’s economic development and discussed the current and up-comming structural and institutional reforms.

The First Vice Prime Minister also focused on such important issues as the role of the IMF, pension reform, capital market development, PPP scheme, so called “larization” process, spatial planning, energy market reforms, steps towards improving mining industry management, etc.

Students were very much involved in the discussion. 

Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Ekaterine Mikabadze also attended the lecture.
