President of the Republic of Belarus arrived on official visit in Georgia. First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Dimitry Kumsishvili met President of Belarus Aleksander Lukashenko at Tbilisi International Airport. President of Belarus visit coincides with the Belarus Government Delegation visit to Tbilisi.

Within the framework of the visit of Alexander Lukashenko, there has already been held important meetings with the representatives of the Governments of the two countries where the important issues of deepening relations between Georgia and Belarus have been discussed. The First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Dimitry Kumsishvili, at the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, Mikhail Rusyi at the Government Administration, spoke about the prospects of trade between the two countries, establishment of joint ventures and other significant sectors of economy. The special contribution of Georgian and Belarus authorities to the deepening of the partnership relations between the two countries was specially highlighted at the meeting.

Georgia-Belarus Business Forum was held in the frames of the visit of the Belarus delegation, which was opened by Dimitry Kumsishvili and Mikhail Rusyi. As it was noted at the Forum, the official visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus will play an important role in the deepening of the relations between the two countries and the transition to a new stage of partnership.
