“State will support winners of the innovative projects in implementations of the projects,” – the First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili stated at the meeting with the winners of the co-financing grants held at the Technology Park in Tbilisi.

18 winners of the Co-financing Grants Program of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development were announced on May 25, 2018. Each of the winners received a grant up to 100000 GEL.

According to the First Vice Prime Minister, along the certain amount of money, the startups will also receive the state support in terms of marketing, branding and mentorship. Mentors will provide consultations on strategic development of the startup as well as on the business activities the specific field. All of these will enable successful winners to develop and enhance their activities.

Acting Head of the LEPL Innovations and Technologies Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Avtandil Kasradze also attended the meeting.
