Giorgi Kobulia Met with EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn

Giorgi Kobulia, accompanied by the delegation, is visiting Brussels to participate in the First Informal DCFTA Ministerial. Within the frames of the event, Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development held meetings with the EU Commissioner for Transport, Violeta Bulc and the EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.

“Support and promotion of the SMEs and establishment of the credit-guarantee fund in this regard were the main topics of the discussion with the Commissioner Hahn. The EU and the European Investment Bank is supporting and will continue this support in this direction,” – the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development stated following the meeting with the EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.

“We talked about the mechanisms that insure the outcomes we expect from establishing the credit-guarantee fund.  The fund shall allocate money to those companies that will contribute to the country’s economic growth and further integration to the European markets,” – the Minister noted.

Giorgi Kobulia, within the frames of the event, held meetings with the EU Commissioner for Transport, Violeta Bulc and the EU Commissioner for Trade, Cecilia Malmström.
