Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, George Kobulia held a meeting with the Ambassador of Italy to Georgia, H.E. Antonio Enrico Bartoli.

The meeting focused on the trade and economic relations between Georgia and Italy, as well as on the priority directions for future cooperation. Different fields where the cooperation of the two countries would be mutually beneficial, including such directions as infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, energy, industry, innovations and others, were discussed at the meeting.

Both parties welcomed the deepening of the cooperation and expressed readiness to carry out relevant measures targeted at expanding of the bilateral economic relations. It was also agreed to facilitate strengthening of the business circles between Georgia and Italy, including the organization of trade missions and business forums which will increase awareness about Georgia.
