GeoIGF 2018, the 4th Internet Governance Forum is being held upon the co-organization and support of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, where the internet market and competition, the development and the news regarding the broadband networks and communities, copyrights, internet accessibility and other issues are discussed.

The GEO IGF aims at improvement inclusion of the public in the consultation process in the ICT sector including the identification of the challenges and discussion of the representation of the broadband infrastructure, competition, development of the country’s code – GE and the ccTLD administration, copyrights, human rights, protection of personal data on the Internet, freedom of expression on the Internet, information security and protection, etc.

Representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, the ISOC, the Council of Europe, the National Communications Commission, the Association of Small and Medium Telecommunications, the Internet Development Initiative, the Association of Georgian Regional Broadcasters, Cycling Internet Exchange Center and other public and private sectors participate in the Forum.
