Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, George Kobulia held a meeting with the representatives of the insurance companies of Georgia who addressed the Minister a few days ago and requested the meeting on the issues related to the insurance market development.

The meeting focused on the challenges which Georgia’s insurance market faces including the profit tax reform or so called “Estonian Model” which will be applied to the insurance companies as well. It was noted that the Government is working on this issue to make the reform comforting to the private sector.

The meeting also discussed other important issues for the players of the insurance market.
