George Kobulia, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, held a meeting with the representatives of about 30 startup companies at the Tech Park. The meeting focused on the challenges of the innovations ecosystem, solutions and future projects targeted at supporting startups.

“We had a free, open discussion. We promised the startups to eliminate bureaucratic obstacles. We also received proposals on how to promote our startups internationally, how to provide connectivity with the foreign startups and innovations ecosystem. We agreed upon holding meetings of the similar format more frequently and on a regular basis,” – the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, George Kobulia, stated after the meeting.

During the discussion, it was decided to establish a permanent platform, through which the cooperation between the public sector and the startup companies will be more intensive and productive.
